Briar Creek Brewery Goals and History

      We brew for the great flavor of beer.

       Briar Creek Towhead Ale is a smooth beer with no after taste.

       We use quality malted barley, hops and water which is brewed slowly together to get one of the freshest most distinct flavors in beers today.

             We looked at the process, of developing our beer, in a long methodical, systematic, mostly scientific process and our first attempt gave us a delicious beer that we where encouraged to brew more of by family and friends and a few beer critics. Some even suggested a Brew Pub or contests.

              We started a brewery so that more people can try our beer. Through a combination of blind luck and good old “do it the best you can principles", here we are.

              We have other ideas for great beers in the future. We feel lucky to have an exceptional 

beer in the Cedar Valley.

              Our dedication to great beers will bring us a dark beer and a very hoppy beer but for now we present an extra smooth whole grain beer that is creamy and delicious. Even mom says its good and she doesn’t like beer.

 We are a brewery in Janesville, IA. We have Towhead Ale brewed for us by Sand Creek Brewing located in Black River Falls, Wi. They are a distinguished brewer with a Gold medal at the World Beer Cup for there Chocolate Oatmeal Stout 'Oscar'. We are fortunate and they  agree that Towhead beer is a good beer for their type of brewing.

We are currently at more than 58 locations after our first month and it's expanding every day.
